In October 2001, the 45s were on tour supporting Shed Seven. We thought that we should make a film of it. Noticing that many of the venues looked the same, but we only had one camera, we had the ingenious idea of getting people to film our performance from a different part of the venue each night, thereby allowing us to cut together a multi-angled video after the event.
The result is a seamless, unique performance which features a large number of in-song costume changes, which demonstrates the awesome impact of the 45s live, apart from the bits Phil filmed, which demonstrate a lot of his thumbs.
Intercut with snippets from Stephen's vault of video taken on tour from over the years, you can have no doubt that the 45s were a) a great band, and b) incredibly annoying people.
